Young Investigators

The LOM platform supports existing, and develop new, networks in specific interdisciplinary and cross-faculty areas (see more at the Network page). Young scientists are in charge of organising these networks, events and meetings with the administrative support of the LOM unit.

The LOM support office also helps individual graduate post-graduate and PhD-students in the field of lifestyle, obesity and metabolic research.

Tools for better writing

We have collected a small list of articles about scientific writing to help you improve on your own; the list is on this page. Suggestions for further reading are very welcome!

Future events in the Young Investigator Networks

All YIN events can be found in the UCPH LOM event calendar. If you want to make certain you never miss news about the YIN MFM network, you can sign up for that network's newsletter.

Inspiration for Bachelor- and Master theses

The enclosed brochure (in Danish) provides an overview of many of the researchers working in the area of lifestyle, obesity and metabolic research at The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. You can also visit the webpages of some of the major research initiatives within this field of reach at UCPH:

Research internship at the Integrated Research and Treatment Center (IFB) Adiposity Diseases in Leipzig, Germany

Master's students at the faculty of Health and Medical Sciences can now apply for an 8 week internship. The internships (called MS Pro) enable medical and science students to gain first-hand experience in the clinical-scientific field of obesity research, and thus test their suitability and enjoyment for research.
